April brought many emotions with it, mainly because I have officially finished my University career, with 3 essays and 2 exams to go, I am very emotional to say the least! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone so far and how close summer is!
I decided to go back to my childhood with this Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner (£4.50) this month. I absolutely adore the smell of this stuff and it does a really good job of cleansing my hair and conditioning respectively. I recommend to anyone who needs a bit of conditioning in their lives. This isn't for oily scalps however.
Speaking of hair, I also started using my Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream ($5.99). It does smell a little bit funky, but it holds a curl like nothing else I have tried. I use it by itself and let my hair dry naturally, or I use it when I am curling my hair and it helps keep the style for way longer than I would usually have it. I really want to try this on Emma to see what she thinks!
I picked up the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Khol Liner in bronze (£3.99) this month and I absolutely adore it. It isn't as harsh as black liner, and it makes the green in my eyes pop. I smudge it under my lash line and it sets in place pretty quickly too. It stays on for absolutely ages too which is great!
I rediscovered my love for the Wet N Wild Comfort Zone Palette ($4.99) in April. I absolutely adore the pigmentation of these buttery shadows. They truly are great value for money and the colours are divine. I love how there are instructions as to where to place the shadows on your lid. The only problem with these shadows is that there is some fallout, which can be resolved with a bit of concealer post application.
I found my Vichy Normaderm Nuit (£12.77) when I came home from University and I cannot believe I forgot about it! I adore this night moisturiser for evening out my skin tone and because it contains glycolic acid which helps aid cell production and clear up my skin.
I have been loving the documentary TV series on Lindsay Lohan. It is so interesting to see what her life is like post rehab and the difficulties she encounters in the life of celebrity. I am so interested in celebrity culture and this is such a good medium to understand it a little bit more.
What have you been loving this month?
